Miles Channing Thomas received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University. After leaving Clemson, Mr. Thomas received his Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Tennessee.

Mr. Thomas' practice is in New Orleans where he specializes in admiralty and maritime law while continuing to maintain a general litigation practice. On December 1, 2020, Mr. Thomas began his own firm, Miles Thomas Law, LLC, continuing his zealous advocacy for his clients in both litigation and transactional matters. He is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Louisiana and South Carolina. Mr. Thomas is a member of the New Orleans, Louisiana State, South Carolina state and American Bar Associations.
